ABOUT

The Kiyora™ Method is a premium health, wellness, and longevity coaching practice for senior executives, founders, and business leaders.

The name Kiyora is inspired by three Japanese characters - 基  (ki - foundation), 良 (yo - goodness), and 羅  (ra - encompass or protect). Together, they reflect a core philosophy: that a strong foundation of wellbeing creates the conditions for a long, resilient, and fully expressed life.

We help high-performing individuals restore clarity, build resilience, and sustain long-term performance by addressing the core foundations of wellbeing - physical, mental, and emotional - that underpin sustainable professional performance.

Kiyora combines evidence-based coaching with a discreet, deeply personal approach that fits the complexity of leadership life - helping clients move forward with long-term strength, clarity, and purpose for the decades ahead.

WHY - AND WHY NOW?

Midlife isn’t a time to ease off - it’s the moment to realign priorities and invest in long-term health. The science is clear: if you don’t start now, health and vitality become much harder to reclaim later. Experts call this “squaring the longevity curve” - staying strong, clear-minded, and fulfilled for as long as possible.

After decades working with senior executives and high-performing teams, I’ve seen the same pattern again and again: driven individuals build remarkable careers, but often at the quiet expense of their own health.

The good news? Building lasting health doesn’t require overhauling your life. It’s about applying a minimum effective dose - small, science-based habits that fit your schedule and compound over time. The Kiyora Method provides the structure and accountability leaders need to sustain their energy and performance over the long term.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Kiyora is designed for leaders who want to get serious about investing in their long-term health, clarity, and resilience.

We work with individuals who:

  • Know they need to focus on their health but can’t find the time, structure, or accountability

  • Want more energy, focus, and resilience, but without adding extra pressure or complexity

  • Have tried other approaches but struggled to maintain lasting results

  • Want a holistic, science-based system, not another short-term fix

  • Recognize that neglecting their wellbeing limits both performance and leadership impact

MY STORY

I’m Henry Osborn, a health and wellness coach for senior business leaders and professionals. I help individuals build the structure, habits, and clarity needed to sustain their health and performance over the long term.

After nearly 20 years in the corporate world, I founded an executive search and leadership coaching business, which I continue to lead today. Along the way, I learned first-hand how easily health can be sidelined in demanding careers. Despite being a lifelong athlete, I experienced a series of sudden, unexplained health issues - from crippling joint pain to hearing loss - until a pre-diabetic diagnosis became the turning point that led me to rebuild my health from the ground up.

Through my coaching work, I saw the same pattern in others: accomplished leaders struggling with stress, energy, and wellbeing in ways that quietly undermined their confidence and effectiveness.

The most meaningful changes came not from more strategy, but from restoring the foundations of physical, emotional, and mental health. These experiences led me to create The Kiyora Method - a holistic, science-based framework that integrates wellbeing, resilience, and leadership performance.

I’m a certified Health & Wellness Coach (IIN), an accredited Executive Coach (ICF, GLLC Japan), and hold an M.A. from Oxford University and an MSc in Organizational Psychiatry & Psychology from King’s College London. I’m a member of the British Psychological Society, have published research on mindfulness and global leadership development, and have guest lectured at leading universities in Japan.

Born in the UK to British and Japanese parents, I’ve lived in Japan for over 20 years and am fluent in Japanese. I live in Kamakura with my wife - a former professional athlete and yoga teacher - and our two sons. On weekends, you can usually find me coaching or supporting at the local youth rugby club. I also enjoy trail running and walking - and after 5 years of slowly making my way along the Ohenro Pilgrimage in Shikoku each spring, am now up to temple 79!
